Our comprehensive range of courses, from basic and advanced firefighter training to specialized fire officer education, blends the experience and skills of fire services personnel from across the province with the educational expertise of division staff.

Our education and training programs are available in a traditional classroom setting at our campuses, as well as other local and regional locations around the province, or through eLearning. The learning experience is further enhanced by an impressive range of facilities, training props and resources and a learner-centered curriculum. Each year FSD trains over 10,000 firefighters from across BC, Canada and the World.
